Family Nurse Practitioner

Jan Tate is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her masters of science in nursing at Old Dominion University in 1998. Jan spent four years at Holland Road Family Practice in Virginia Beach before joining Dr. Robin at The New Hope Center in 2002. Jan often tells others that some of her greatest accomplishments as a Nurse Practitioner were during her 5 years with Dr. Robin. In 2008, Jan moved to Northern Virginia where she worked in Family Practice, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN. She spent the last three years working at the Naval Medical Center Quantico working with the Marine Corp where she was awarded by the Naval Clinic Commanding Officer for 100% Patient Satisfaction two consecutive years.

Recently, Jan and her husband returned to Virginia Beach. She is very excited to work with Dr. Robin and her staff again helping patients achieve their dreams at The New Hope Center. Jan is also happy to be near her son again and to have the opportunity to work with her daughter, Erin, who occasionally helps out in the embryology lab. She looks forward to spending time at the beach and re-uniting with old friends in Virginia Beach.
