MEET DR. BOCCA AT NEW HOPE CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE

Meet Dr. Silvina Bocca at New Hope Center For Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Clinic in Virginia Beach, VA

Reproductive Endocrinologist and certified in infertility, Dr. Silvina Bocca is dedicated to Helping Create Families.

Silvina M. Bocca, MD, PhD, HCLD

Silvina M. Bocca, MD, PhD, HCLD is subspecialty certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as a certified Embryologist and High Complexity Laboratory Director with over 20 years’ experience in the diagnosis and treatment of female and male infertility as well as in IVF laboratory embryology.

Dr. Silvina Bocca graduated with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Old Dominion University and Eastern Virginia Medical School. She initiated her career as an embryologist at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, later becoming a certified Laboratory Director. She then completed medical school, ObGyn residency and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at EVMS where she is a Professor teaching medical students, physician assistant students, residents and fellows. She is also a course co-director in the Masters of Clinical Embryology program. 

She is experienced in all areas of Assisted Reproductive Technologies including in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer, as well as endoscopic surgery. Her clinical interests include treatment of recurrent miscarriage, fertility preservation, premature ovarian insufficiency and male infertility. She is well regarded in the mid-Atlantic community, earning numerous accolades for her quality and patient centered care as well as invitations to participate in national and international scientific conferences as and to provide advice in pharmaceutical expert panels.

In addition to her medical practice, she is an active member of national societies such as the American Society of Reproductive Medicine ASRM (current Chair of the Coding Committee) and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology SART (current Vice President). 

Dr. Bocca’s passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in helping them become a family.
